ciao caio, nove italy

Renowned artist, Jenna Basso Pietrobon, has undertaken a visionary transformation of 'Terramica Ceramica,' reimagining it as a vibrant hub where artists convene, engage in creative production, and delve into the rich history and craftsmanship of ceramics. This ambitious project, aptly named 'Ciao Caio,' pays homage to Pietrobon's great uncle, Claudio, affectionately known as 'Caio,' who currently presides over the factory's operations.

Pietrobon's overarching objective is the meticulous restoration and preservation of the building's architectural essence, characterized by its graceful arched ceilings, expansive windows that flood the space with natural light, and the original, artistically expressive terrazzo floors. The design concept revolves around a harmonious integration with the surrounding natural environment while tastefully complementing the industrial aesthetic of the structure.

The deliberate selection of olive greens stands out in striking contrast against the pristine walls and arches, creating a captivating visual interplay. Additionally, the strategic incorporation of geometric shapes adds depth and dimension to the adjoining spaces, enhancing the overall ambiance.

Situated in the picturesque locale of Nove, Italy, 'Ciao Caio' emerges as an exclusive residency, catering to a diverse community of artists, designers, architects, and creators, providing an inspiring haven for creative exploration and collaboration.
