Otty — a name drawn from Otello, the late grandfather of founder Alisha Sturino, is both tribute and ethos. A visionary hotelier and pioneering spirit, his legacy lives on in this Toronto-based interior design studio that blends artistic sensibility with architectural precision. Specializing in residential, commercial and hospitality projects, Otty approaches each space as a canvas for storytelling, where materiality, proportion and emotion converge.

At its core, the studio is devoted to crafting environments of quiet beauty and enduring resonance. Spaces that evoke harmony, warmth and timelessness. Every detail is intentional. Each element is considered, refined and deeply rooted in craftsmanship. Otty’s work is a celebration of artistry - honoring the hands and minds of skilled makers whose pieces become seamlessly embedded into the architecture of daily life.

Rooted in a cultivated, contemporary aesthetic, Otty navigates the tension between restraint and richness. The result is a portfolio of layered, sensory spaces where form and function are held in equal esteem. With a spirit of curiosity and reverence for design heritage, each project becomes a dialogue - curated, soulful and emotionally engaging.

Her formative years were shaped by hands-on involvement with landmark projects, including the Miami Edition Hotel, where she contributed from conceptual narrative to final installation. Her trajectory later expanded to leading roles across cosmopolitan hubs - New York and Dubai, before establishing her own practice. Her approach is one of nuanced storytelling, drawing upon global influences, tactile materials and an ever-evolving artistic instinct.
